My Story

Hello. I'm a husband, father, and musician living in Kansas City, Missouri. I've always been passionate about music and I grew up playing guitar at my church back in Mississippi. In 2012, my wife, Emily, and I moved out to Kansas City to serve at the International House of Prayer Missions Base. Since then I've grown a lot as a guitarist and musician. I've traveled with multiple local worship artists and every place we go it's always my heart to connect with the local musicians. I love getting to share my passion with others and finding ways that we can help one another in our craft. 

Currently I'm playing electric guitar for Laura Hackett Parks worship team in the IHOPKC Prayer Room. 

Beside from loving music, I have a really big heart for my wife and kids! We have two beautiful girls and the best moments in my life by far have been the times with my girls!! Family is really important to me! 

Some other random things I'm into are...

• Everything STAR WARS. I basically grew up on Episodes 4-6 and VeggieTales when I was a kid. Ha! 
• Honey, yes I will basically put it on anything that goes in my mouth. It's so good and I love sugary sweet tasting foods. So I basically use honey to make everything that way! lol 
• Vintage analog synthesizers. I bought a JUNO-60 this past summer and have fallen in love with the world of synthesis and analog sound creation. It's very interesting all the sounds you can make and super tempting for my ears!
